How We Find You

We find two kinds of people. Those whose potential the world has never measured correctly, living ordinary lives while carrying extraordinary minds. And those already on their way, moving fast, who simply need a team capable of keeping up with them. We connect both to the opportunities and resources that can turn what they are into what they were always meant to become.

From the Field
Over hundreds of hours at robotics competitions, something becomes undeniable: rooms full of teenagers building machines that shouldn't work, solving problems professionals said were too hard, doing things together that none of them could have done alone. Not everyone has access to a robotics team. Not everyone has the school, the budget, the geography. Neuropian is the online infrastructure for everyone who doesn't. Dylan Leitenberg was gifted from an early age, and he knew it. He could feel the gap between what his mind was reaching for and what the classroom was able to offer. He could feel himself moving faster than the room. The questions he wanted to ask had no place in the curriculum. The problems he wanted to solve were not on the syllabus. Where his mind would reach for the edges of a problem, the lesson hadn't even begun. He didn't build Neuropian because it was a good business idea. He built it because he lived the story himself, and watched it happen to everyone around him.

He wasn't disruptive. He wasn't difficult. He was simply further ahead than the system was designed to accommodate, and the system, rather than stretching to meet him, quietly asked him to shrink.

He watched teachers assign grades to curiosity. He watched the bell cut off trains of thought that could have led somewhere remarkable. He watched peers, some of the most gifted people he would ever know, gradually stop raising their hands, stop asking why, stop believing their particular kind of intelligence had a place in the world. The system wore them down in a hundred small corrections until the fire became manageable.

Dylan refused to become manageable. His work with The Good Student, based out of Caltech's Psychophysics Lab gave him the scientific vocabulary for what he had always understood: that minds process reality differently, that cognitive difference is not a deficiency, it is the source of the most extraordinary human capability the world has ever produced.

From a young age, Dylan sought to bring opportunities to others. His first nonprofit, YellowSwing First Time Fishing Association, sought to bring joy through new experiences, proof that his drive to unlock potential in others began long before Neuropian. Today he is building something much larger. Find the people the world missed. Give them the opportunity the system denied them. Watch what happens.

No framework that could hold it. I learned very quickly that the system was not designed for people who needed to go further. It was designed for people who needed to get through."
